Ok, so domestic goddess I am NOT. Though I made the decision, and have always known I wanted to stay home with my children, the "homemaker" part of the deal I have NEVER been good at. This is what I have accomplished today......
*Load of laundry washing
*Dishwasher loaded and running-sink wiped out
*Coffee made, drinking second cup
*Tagged a few things for garage sale in near future
*Fed myself and the two little ones
*Watered the dogs(Mike fed them before work)
*Went through medicine cabinet and tossed some old stuff
So not a whole lot to speak of really. As I look around, my carpets need vacuming desperatly, my floors need sweeping and mopping(swiffer wet jet is my mop), the dog/cat hair is out of control on these floors sometimes. I have 3 baskets of laundry folded but they need to be put away. And dinner tonight, NO CLUE.
Its mild and breezy outside and the last place I want to be is in this house. Garage Sales start on Thursdays around here, so maybe we'll go out for a little bit and look around. So anyway....

I know what you mean about the house work. It never ends! Baby steps! Have you ever been to flylady.com? She has a system to cleaning your house a little each day. I have been doing it with some girls on the message board (kind of a modified version) and honestly, 1 or 2 hours of work a day and my house is cleaner than it has ever been (which, as you know, is probably not saying much).

I just wanted to add my two cents, since you know me to be an absolute nightmarish housekeeper. Now I have a spotless house, though I know my old friends would find that hard to believe. I owe it all to Swiffer. I just had to say that. Swiffer made it all possible, especially the Swiffer vac thing for kitchen floors. I made a list of everything I do in a week and split it into days, so that way I have a day off! :)
